Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Caitlin Macklin.  I am originally from Maryland but have lived in Maine since 1998.  I went to college at University of Maine, Orono and graduated with a degree in Nutrition.  I have two kids, Annabelle (9) and Oliver (7), and live in North Yarmouth with my husband John, 2 dogs and 2 cats.

What are you most excited about when you think about starting your new role with The Scott & Sunny Townsend Team?
I am most excited to learn the ins and outs of real estate.  I come from retail management and I'm thrilled to be starting a new career in such an exciting and ever-growing industry.

What are your Top 3 favorite things about living in Maine?
My favorite part of living in Maine is being on the water.  Any chance we get (weather above 70 degrees), we are on the water - either at Higgins (our home away from home) or out on the boat in Casco Bay.

Favorite way to give back to the community?
Volunteering at Midcoast Humane and beach cleanups with my daughter, Annabelle.

What are your personal and professional goals you're working on this year?  
I want to prove myself worthy of being a part of such an impressive team!  I want to be somebody our team can count on by learning as much as I can within this first year.  I'd also like to pick up long-distance running (again) to start prepping for my full marathon goal in 2026.

Tell us about your hobbies/ activities/ interests?
Being with my family, musical theatre and concerts, volunteering at Midcoast Humane, spending time on the water, weekends in Boston, Peloton (mildly obsessed), planning parties/events.
