After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Melanie returned home to Maine to begin a career in administration and fundraising, specializing in special events. Melanie has worked with several Maine-based nonprofit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine, Spurwink Services and The Portland Symphony Orchestra. She now finds herself bringing the same people-first passion to the real estate world as the Transaction Coordinator and Administrator for the Scott & Sunny Townsend Team since November of 2020.
Melanie spends as much time as she can with her many nieces and nephews, visiting friends out of state, enjoying the beauty of Maine and snuggling with her cat, Luna. Melanie also enjoys pet sitting for friends and family. You may see her around the Greater Portland area adventuring with different pups along the beaches, nature trails and parks.
