Meghan, a Scarborough native, was first introduced to Sunny Townsend in 2003 when she hired her at a local travel agency a week after graduating from the University of Maine at Orono in 2003. Sunny would leave her position there to join Scott in real estate within weeks of Meghan starting at her new job.

In 2008, Meghan took an opportunity to work for an asset management company. The company worked with several large banks to help move REO property from their portfolio. Upon her departure in late 2012, she was overseeing the Company portfolio for all BB&T files as an asset manager.

It was only a few short months after she purchased her first home in Biddeford that she and Sunny reconnected. At the time Scott & Sunny Townsend were on the hunt for an executive assistant to work in their thriving real estate business. With her knowledge of real estate and love of systems, it was the perfect opportunity to utilize her knowledge as well as help a growing dynamic team build upon their already successful foundations. Since joining the team in late 2012 she has, alongside Scott & Sunny, significantly contributed to the team’s continued success and growth.

In addition to being a licensed Associate Broker & Realtor, Meghan has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a paralegal certificate and is a notary. Meghan has proven to be an outspoken leader not only within her team but for operational and administrative roles within the industry, as highlighted by becoming the first member of KW’s Agent Leadership Council (ALC), whose role is operational rather than actively selling real estate.

Meghan now resides back in her hometown of Scarborough, owning a home only 3 miles from where she grew up. In her free time, she can be found walking her pup on Higgins or Ferry Beach, kayaking, creating custom cakes, or up to her elbows planning shenanigans.
