Katy hails from the hometown of Detroit, Michigan which she credits for her street smarts and tenacious attitude around helping others with their life’s goals and dreams. Maine is now home as she has been here for more than 25 years. She resides in Scarborough with her partner Ami, her mother, 2 dogs (Darlan and Piper), and a talking African Gray named Dusty Dinsmore.

Katy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, and Spanish as well as a Master’s of Business Administration. Her assorted work history and experience has always involved service to others and she uses this to her advantage in real estate. This is evident in by her service to The Town of Scarborough as an elected official, co-founding The Dog Owners of Greater Scarborough (DOGS) political action committee, as well as too many to name volunteer efforts over the years.

Whether she is coaching clients or new agents you will never get less than 150% of her passion to help and serve others. Listening to your needs and providing exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of Katy’s approach in real estate. She is a problem solver and people pleaser, always looking to create a win / win scenario for her clients and her team.

When she is not working Katy enjoys traveling, a good Netflix series, and spending time outdoors in all seasons. One of her most cherished roles however is being the favorite Auntie to 24 nieces and nephews. She also relishes a good game of almost any kind: Scrabble, cards, pickleball, or cornhole you name it she’ll play it. Did we mention she is competitive and likes to win?
